    1/2-14 is size of tap

    says to use a 22/32 drill bit. this was the correct tap for the barb fitting i used that went from -10 hose to npt

    Last time I looked at one of those fittings it sure looked like a 89/128 to me... but I was just eyeballing it.

    Reminds me of a beer game my FIL and I used to play....GUESS THE MICROMETER READING OF A RANDOM OBJECT TO THE 0.00X PLACE. He was better at it but it was fun.

    1/2 14 npt drill size is a .719 (23/32)
    its a tapered tap so if need be you can ream the top of your hole out a little with a chanfering tool to make the tapping a little ezer. USE TAPPING OIL makes the treads much nicer and you wont get leaks.


    Gasguzzler I would like to try that game out some time. Ive been a machinist for 10 years I might do well.
