    Poooooooooooop!!!

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed. I ran it to running temp. VERY SLOWLY Put half a can in through the Brake booster vaccum line, shut it down and let it sit for about 2 hours. I had the camcorder on...started it up and all I got was a minimal amount of smoke. I deleted the vid cause there was really nothing!!! I guess it's a good thing though...maybe my internals are in better shape than I though at 140,256 miles. I took it out and ran the PISS out of her... still nothing. I will say that it does sound like it's running a little smoother but not drastically. I was expecting a GO GO GADGET smoke screen.

Is it possible that I put it in so slow that most of it burned off while I was adding it?

Yes, you can hydro one with anything if it's liquid and you put too much in.

I use GM TEC in a can through the brake booster hose if it has one but I know how to modulate the amount taken in while it's running. I know to do it when it's really hot. I know that although I choke them dead with the last amount I let them sit long enough to soak in.

Clear flood mode is your friend.

Not sure it really work well on liquid oil standing in the intake (I really wanna see one of these in person). If it works like GM TEC it burns off the baked on hard stuff and the slimey greasy caked stuff....not pooled oil.

It wasn't necessarily "pooling" more of a dirty caked on sludge. I should probably cleam my filter. Then take off my intake mani and clean it and re-gasket it.

I no on older motors they poor small amounts of water down the intake to clean the carbon out of the motor.

Yep....with a carb or TBI. Gotta make sure it's smokin' hot too. And get a buddy to help modulate throttle. That trick works for massive, dry, charcoal type carbon those older, dirtier engines built up.

i'm planning to seafoam the new engine i just put in. with 102k mi, is it still safe to run seafoam in the oil? i've heard it's fine & i've heard it's bad. also - do i do the vacuum line & deep creep while the seafoam's in the oil, before, or after?

I'd start with the crankcase and a cold motor, not sure pouring a cold liquid in a hot crankcase is such a good idea. Then start the Sea Foaming process....

Don't use SeaFoam in the oil, Gm has a crankcase cleaner but a little Kerosene works just as good.
