    All through the post it didnt say what motor you have? And +1 to the tune and long tubes. I would try to get a cam installed, long tubes and get the tune for all of it. Be a world of difference by the end.

    Sorry fellas. Its a 5.3. I guess that whould be a great help. Lol. With all do respect is the 5.3 a 323. Or a 327. At the parts store it come up 323. But my buddy that is an ASE tech says its more of 327. I'm lost.

    Welcome! Nice ride man... When you get serious about the cam and head swap--let us know. We'll point ya in the right direction. But just for grins, I would go with 799s for the heads and a 224R cam from Texas Speed. And when you do that, you'll need at least a 3000 stall.

    But for longtubes--go with the GM Truck LPP headers. Great product at a great price!
