can anyone help on what to do with the vss, im going to use the stock gauges from the 82 c10 and the speedo cable goes to the tranny, ive been reading that you need the vss so it can run right? where wil it go.

go to dakotadigital.com and get one of their encoders for your application. If you dont see it on the site call them and they'll fix you up.

when i did my 5.3 700r4 on my truck all used was the spacer . it bolted up to the flexplate fine . it was 2000 model 5.3

yeah they they told me to fill out a specification sheet so he can set me up with the parts i need.
