The original vehicle has a whole lot different everything. I'm sure Allen knows about the swap information.

hey allen can a 99 intake fit on an 03 flex fuel motor without changing harness and pcm, or would i have to swap the harness and pcm. by the way the motor will be going in a 82 c10 so the harness will need to stand alone.

the reason i ask this queation is because the 03 ff motor is missing the tb and fuel inj. so the guy selling the motor says he has a 99 intake complete harness and pcm to swap for.

You can get the 99 intake, harness and PCM and it will work on the Flex Fuel engine without any issues. You're going to need to get a converted harness to work with the older truck anyway, along with a tune with the VATS disabled and all the non-essential smog stuff disabled. If you can, I'd get the FF injectors, too, so that you have the added fueling when you decide to go for more performance later down the road. Nevermind, just saw that you posted that the injectors were missing.

depends on which ones are in there. Get the PN off them when you get the engine and someone will be able to tell you. There are cross references all over the net with HP level each injector will support.

Looks like you got it answered.

The biggest issue is the ETC like Red said.
