    Yeah, good call on getting rid of the TBTC...it is only good to about 2400 anyway--and you need something more than that. A TT3600 might be the ticket!

    Adding a cam to the 5.3L will be easy man. Let one of us know when you wanna do it and we can help. Also, you can consult LS1howto.com for similiar cam install instructions. Its for an F-body, and there are some things you don't need to do, but it gives you the basics...
