    do yall go somewhere to get it flushed or just change it yourself?

    im with cajun...the el-cheapo stuff. and changing it yourself is easy. if you can pull off a motor swap you can change tranny fluid.

    I would just change the fluid instead of flushing it out. Sometimes by flushing it does to good of a job of cleaning it out due to the detergents.Might cause the clutch packs to wear out too soon.

    I wouldn't put IV in the newer ones designed for VI.

    Man I just hate putting gaskets on.. I always feel like i am gonna do it wrong. and its gonna leak

    Haha--the cork gaskets are harder to work with than the rubber ones. You can put a small amount of silicone on the pan and stick the gasket to that so that is doesn't move around on you...

    yeah I know. the FLT pan looks so nice sitting there so I dont know if i I want to drop it.

    Ill probably wait till christmas to change the fluid and filter seeing as how it only has like 4k on it
