Well, for starters, Magnaflow is a straight through design also. And I have seen stats somewhere that prove that they flow better than most of the major Muffler manufacturers. vote for magnaflow here, but do the cat back not just the muffler. it installs so easy and looks much better. and you get a nice tip as well.
