I did the 2" daystars when I first got my truck and it sat level. Its really not a bad install, I did it in my driveway in 3 hours. take some fender measurements as you may only need the 1 and 1/2" spacers. I can find you part numbers if you need.

When you say "take some fender measurements" do you mean from the rear? From the ground up to the wheel well?

ya from the ground to the bottom of the wheel well arch. You will get some sag so you never get a true 2" but very close

I have an '04 4x4 ECSB, and I have as some have mentioned TB's up front. I just put 2.5" of front end lift by installing some new TKeys, and it looks pretty good, since yours is 2WD, it may not need to be lifted as much. If you have springs up front, just measure the distance from the ground to the fender in the rear and determine how much will be needed in the front by measuring that same distance you obtained in the back...of course this is assuming that the Tire/wheel combo will not change. The spacers are pretty easy to install! Either way...just do it, you can always take it back out if you don't like, but I'm guessing you will!

my 05 ecsb 2wd has coils.

I've been tempted to lower the rear of my truck, but I think it looks strange when you have a bunch of weight in the back or are towing a trailer and the back end is REALLY low.

I think the OP should measure from the top of his wheels to the fender front and back and then take the difference.

You could lower the rear end and buy the Airbags that are designed for towing (not expensive, no switches/compressor). It has an air valve just like a tire. When you have weight on the truck you can air up the bags to keep the truck more level

Now when you say there will be some "sag", do you mean a small amount in the front or back? Also, I've heard you have to replace the shocks due to the increase in height. Is this true or people blowing smoke up my ass?
