    BTW heads cant make a squeak noise like you heard.

    But at least you have some new heads on it now.

    Really, please explain to me how my buddies dart heads made the exact same noise and when they were checked out the valve guide clearance was wrong, not to mention you werent there. Could it have been the alternator all along, possibly, I didnt hear the truck before I started working on it or saw if he got coolant or anything else on it while we did the cam swap. What are the chances of an alternator going bad at the same time you do a cam swap? I would really love to know how you can tell what the problem was without hearing it yourself. Even one of the local engine shops told him they thought it sounded like a bad valve guide. To me the noise doesnt sound the same as it did before but whatever you can diagnose things through the internet and word of mouth you should start up your own performance shop you will make millions, but then again you cant manage your money so that might not be such a good idea
