If all you are looking for is louder, just run a larger pipe, so it looks like a muffler. Pretty easy to do.

I agree larger pipe. I'm running 3" pipe from my headers with 3" Random cats, 4 - 3" mufflers ( 2 - 2 chamber 3" blow masters with 3" Dynomax race bullets) and my truck is still too loud.But I like it!

wouldn't a glasspack be the same as a bullet. both are stright through and both are small bodied mufflers with packing????

Magnaflow has never impressed me much with sound, but I liked the performance of it.
A buddy of mine just put on a magna flow and then an electric cutout before it. Its nice to be able to go from quiet to open cut outs at the flip of a switch!
Pretty much, I was just wanted the cabin drone redcuced. If you want to flow some CFM, your going to make noise no matter what.

yeah well i jus got a flowmaster super 44 (the new one) with no tail pipe put on today and it's a lil better but no quiet what i wanted. i think it will be cut off soon. for the bullet or 12" glasspack.

look up cherry bomb.com and look for cherry bomb extreme. you can get it cheaper on ebay like i did for somthin like 40 buxs to ur door

Cherrybomb was one of my sponsors on my last truck. I freakin loved the extreme muffler. It was loud, deep and soo throaty for a legal setup. Better sounding than when it was strait pipes.
I think on this truck Im going to run the cherrybomb vortec and see how I like it.
