The base circle of the z06 cam is smaller. The diffrence is made up in the LS6 valve stems. Your choices are to buy adjustable rocker arms, diffrent sized pushrods, or just not do anything. Which is what I did. Because the base circle diffrence is very minor. (like .0005" or something) I have over 5k miles on mine without any problems. I have heard of others doing just the same.

My only modifications before doing the cam was 3" single outlet exhaust. and an open element cone filter. other than that it was/is stock. i used a 2002 Z06 (LS6) Cam.

I also think a Z06 cam is not a waste, trust me its alot bigger than a stock truck cam by about .100" lift so for the person saying its a waste think again. Thats alot of difference. So i say go for it, cheap and like others said will idle like stock and have lots more pull. ENJOY..

no, the price doesn't include cam, springs, or pushrods.

thanks man, i guess i go ahead and install those iridium plugs into my truck.
i think those platinums need to be swapped out anyway.
