I tried to do some work on it yesterday. I have been flooded with work. I saw online that the relay on the firewall gets its power from off of the ignition source. I was trying to figure the wires out and wasn't able to figure it out yet. My fuse box is different than the pictures you posted Kewljay, I'm guessing the 1994 is different. I will try again on it tomorrow and let you all know the results.

Had same issue ran a ground from wiper housing to the bolt on the brake relay above the brake booster my wipers and brake lights worked after that. I test all grounds and hot wires they where all good didn't make since but worked.

So i just got done replacing my 4l60E transmission and I am having the same problem with my late 93 Silverado k1500 5.7L. My turn signals, run lights, hazards, and reverse lights all work. but when I have the truck off I can press the brake and the lights turn on but as soon as I turn the ignition on they stop working. but also right after when the ignition is off and press the brake the fan speed display will light up. so if I let the truck set with ignition off for a minute or less it will start working again also the fuse for the park lamps was melted there was a 25 amp instead of a 20 amp and my wipers and cruise control do not work. I tried re-connecting the ground at different spots, replace brake peddle switch, tried a new brake light relay but when I put the new relay in there was no lights at all so I think the relay I bought was faulty. I have check for power with a test light and volt meter. every thing is getting power except brake lights when the ignition was turned. I ordered all new brake peddle switch and brake light relay from rockauto. the others were from Oreilles and CARQUEST
