What all will need to be done on the harness if I'm swapping into a 1980 K10? (mainly switches such as brake ignition etc?)
Also will the stock T case from an 87 Suburban bolt on to the 4l80e?
Anyone?

did the transfer case bolt to a TH400? If yes, then you might be in luck.

[QUOTE=RedHeartbeat;131558]This is a post from my first conversion that may help you figure out your stock harness should you attempt to use it. It is not 100% accurate so double check everything and if you find something that doesn't jive, be sure to post it here and we'll update it.
1993 OBS Speedometer and Cruise Control wiring
I've been running around with no cruise for the longest time so I thought I'd get around to fixing it. The answer was very simple with help from GasGuzzler. Remove the white DRAC box behind the glove box and pitch it in the corner. Cut the light blue wire with black stripe. Cut the red wire with white stripe. Take a butt connector and stick the two wires in one end and crimp. Take the speedometer signal wire from the PCM and crimp it to the other end. Job done.
BTW, the cruise control cable I used is from a 1998 C1500 with a Vortech V8.
Does this wiring work for an electronic throttle body? Or is there something different that has to be done?
I have a question about hooking up a 4l60e to my 89 k1500 transfer case. Will I have any issues or will it bolt right up? Or would finding a 2000+ transfer case be a better idea and would my drive shaft still work it I have to swap Trans cases?
I am putting a 5.3 into a 91 ext cab 2wd, now in order to keep the old drive shaft and new transmission in the proper location will i need 1" set back mount plates or standard mount plates?

I don't know from exp yet, but everything I've read indicates that the LS is 1" shorter, so 1" setbacks are needed to keep the trans in its current location.
NP241c bolts up.
Brakes have nothing to do with the engine... for wiring info look on lt1swap.com. As for tcase what trans and tcase are in it now?
Dirty dingo sbc to ls1 adjustable mounts
I have my factory drive shaft
1989 RCSS 5.3/4L60E swap
- 224/230 .581.591 112lsa,
- 3200 Stall
- DJM 4/6 drop
- Nelson Tuned
Building the truck GM never did..
well at twice the price the dirty dingo mounts arent really something i was after. They will run alot more too having them shipped up to canada. i dont mind having the tranny move a bit as it will be out anyways(using the new unit not the 700r) as long as i can use my factory driveshaft.
So maybe its better to ask if i should use the factory location transdept mounts or the 1" set back mounts from them.

What have people done for transmission cooler lines? I was thinking I could just use the factory ones but after looking, it sounds like that may not be an option. I have access to a donor truck so if the factory 99+ lines are usable I can try to grab them.
