    I would really like it if someone ould help me out or pointme in the right direction. I have a 4.3 5 speed and have a 6.0 frome my friends wrecked truck. Could someone tell me what i need to complete the swap. What new parts do I need can I use stock acc., ECU, harnes ect. And can it mount straight up to my trans.PLEASE someone help i have motor and money and ready. Thanks alot!!

    Need more info. What year is your truck? What year is the 6.0L out of? Do you have the transmission with the engine? Do you have the complete harness and PCM?

    I have a 2003 reg cab. The engine is out of a 2005 work truck. I dont have his trans only my 5 speed. Can I use my pcm or should I see if he still has his. Should I buy a new harnes?

    You'll need a PCM and harness from a 6L that had a manual transmission. Allen at Nelsonperformance.com can supply both of these for you plus supply you with a dynamite tune to go with it. I can't say what all you need to have to do it though. 2005 Efans would be a suggestion along with the 34" radiator.

    Will all of my acc. work fine. I guess I need 6.0 motor mounts. And Can I reflash my stock pcm?

    Thanks dude that cleared up some things, but do you know of a post for a 6.0 swap insted of 5.7ls1?

    They are pretty much the same engine except the intake manifold and accessories. all parts interchange between them and all bolt holes are in the same location, for what it&#39;s worth.
