Break out the ohm meter and back trace which pin number and what color connector they go to in the PCM. What vehicle is this for? LS1? LT1? I didn't know there were two serial data lines in a LS1. One might be the MIL wire and the other would be a serial data line.

#4 green with white stripe = vehicle speed sesnor 4K must mean 4000 pulses per mile, use that for the speedo.

The harnes is out of a 2000 chevy 5.3l.
The guy who built the harnes labled the wires coming out
of the pcm. I guess he thought I would just now where
to hook them up. He was working for LNJ's for about 2yrs
    doing only LT1/LS1 swaps.

    Thanks GMCwantsLS1
Thats one out of the way.

I do not have my PCM tune yet. So I also have to figure
out how to hook up this VATs module he gave me.

    3. Dark green is probably the serial data for the obdII diag plug. I believe it's Number 2 on the obdII plug. Also, 4 and 5 need ground and 16 need battery, I'll check this again to be sure, but I just got done hooking one up and that should be it (from memory).
Like it was said, trace them back to the pcm connector and identify the pin #, then we'll know for sure!

btw, give me a call, forget the vats bypass,

I can't seem to match those colors with my wiring schematics. You will probally need to ohm out the wires to the pcm pin locations and then we could be more help. Sorry kinda slow on the responce looks like the other two gave a similer responce

Hopefully your's sounds better than mine. Right now mine sounds like a top fuel dragster! Oh well, at least it runs and drives.

    VSS out to speedo

Purple and Yellow to speed pickup on tailshaft

    black/black and white to ground

Dark green to serial data connector on OBDII connector, not OBDI

gray might be fuel pump relay ground

I am just guessing, trying to remember. Will confirm later. LUNCH TIME!!
