Thread: options on A/C brackets

    options on A/C brackets

what are my options on running A/C on my truck? i have 02 LS1 (f-body acc.)
i see a couple companies that make brackets for different compressors.
does anyone have a list of all the companies that make A/C brackets? i'd like to weigh all my options before buying the first one that i find.

What year is your truck, what compressor are you wanting to use?

my truck is a 96. i guess now the question is which compressor is better & easier to hook up to my truck.
i see some mounts are for the R4 compressor & some are for the sanden compressor.
i tried to contact josh powers about his bracket but he hasn't returned my emails. so far it looks like the dirty dingo if i go with the R4 compressor or the Kwik bracket if i go with the sanden.

I sell a bracket kit to mount the stock compressor and lines in a 96-2000 GMT400 truck.

Yes. It comes with the Alt bracket. The tensioner is the stock 96-2000 GMT400 tensioner with a different pulley on it. It is made for the truck front accessory setup.
