    6speed and Boooooost..

what gearing do you all think would be perfect for turbo setup...will be changing out the ring and pinion in a week or so....

    i have a set of 3.73s and oem 3.23s............

i only know one guy that has a procharged reg cab with the 6spd..hes running the 323s..he says it feels like a 60e with 373s

whatever i choose will be backed by a 3500 stall...

i see most boosted guys run a 3.50 3.55 gear...but of course they dont have the 6speed so

Considering the awesome gearing of the 6 speed and going turbo my vote is 3.23.

hmmmmm thats an interesting thought I wonder what gearing that would take. I really want something with a 6speed. Just amazing.

I've always been told to cross the traps about 500 rpm after peak power. So why not hit the dyno after the turbo, do some math and get it perfect? I love the 6speed with the 3.73's though. It's a nice combo.

Don't forget to factor in converter slippage when you are doing your calculations, of course unless you lock the converter.

cause i dont have the tap manual control of the trans since i did the swap...but i did find out something ,if i drop the shifter once down it drops the gear to the lowest and stays in 4th till i shift up to the D......so i may be able to now.
