    heavy duty shocks...

    well, last time we went off roading, my father plowed the axle into a bolder doing 30, so now we need new shocks, we do some off roading (not much) and we start doing a lot of towing soon. so what do you suggest? we need the entire set for under $350. (so we are not looking at state of the art) but is it possible to get adjustable air shocks for at least the rear for that price? even if only for the rear.

    Rancho shocks are good and can be had for around $50 a piece. If you want the adjustable ones they are $100 a piece.

    Air shocks run about 90 a piece.

    wow, rancho, the one place i didn't look.... 100 bucks a corner is fine... i meane the rears are the only ones that will be ajusted, but still. well thanks!

    thanks, 100 bucks a corner is fine, i guess... now im going to see what you swapped into the 2006 siverado, lol.

    bilstein HD shocks from summit are about 70 a piece and the edelbrock ias are around 90. both excellent buys

    yeah, with lots of towing, but also being a daily driver, i want something ajustable really badly, THANKS! i will look into both of them.
