cats outta the bag.. i just placed an order on a block to build a 408 for the SS.
anyone think im gonna need bigger injectors? i got 42lbers in there now.

Not really sure, but I don't think over doing it on a 408 fuel system setup would kill you. I mean you are already dropping dime on just getting the motor done.

Yeah I def. understand. I snagged some fat purple 60lb injectors on tech for like 200 shipped. You could flip the 40s for a decent priced depending on how used they are. Just saying.

A friend of mine runs a 6.0L stroked to a 402 and with 42#ers, his IDC is about 78%. He runs 11.3 in the 1/4 mile on spray, BUT, he is naturally aspirated. If you plan to boost that 408, you'll need 60#ers - at least
