    6.0 cam

    hey guys i have the 6.0 and im thinkin of orderin a cam... its the vinci performance torker... im just wonderin if i need new pushrods and rockers? or could those be done later on down the road as money progresses? ive heard from a few local people both ways but i figured id ask the guys that really know...

    Ull heed hardend push rods and springs but not rockers

    yeah do not leave the stock push rods please. springs too like warlock said.

    and a tune

    and verter too probably...what are the specs?

    it says i dont need a verter... power range is from 1500-6000rpm...

    i plan on doin the tune...

    where should i get the pushrods and springs?

    yeah verter isnt necessary with a 116LSA...texas performance sells em, or look on classifieds on here or performancetruck.net they pop up alot...

    honestly though, thats a pretty small cam for a 6.0. if it was me, i'd go bigger

    im lookin for somethin for some torque down bottom where i dont have to turn the truck 5k to get any power if u kno what i mean... as its a 2500hd and i tow with it and stuff... its a 4wd...

    hence no verter, k i gotcha.

    well then that cam should be a good addition.

    lookin at springs now what should i get? i kno i need the hardened pushrods but not sure bout the springs... just new stock style springs or new retainers or what?

    Their Torker cam is just marginally bigger than your stock 6.0L cam. You wouldn't see much of a performance gain. Go to their truck cam page at the link below and check out the Ultra Torque and Butt Kicker cams. Either would be a better choice for more grunt down low.

    the ultra torque was actually what i was leaning towards... but now that i see that page what about "the trucker" cam? 2000-6200.... prolly still wouldnt need a verter...
