    wiring help

ok i kno i posted this in the wrong section. i did it on purpose as this one gets more traffic. I need to know which wire is the signal wire in the oxygen sensor for hooking up an air/fuel gauge? also, which wire in the dash do i jump off of so my aftermarket gauges light up automatically when my headlights come on? thanks!!!

if im reading this right, Hayne's says that there is a white wire coming from the ambient light sensor and BCM that runs to the headlamp relay. or you could buy your own relay and wire it up to your head lights. that might be easier

you don't need a relay for the lights, you can hook the light up th the red wire on the back of the cluster or if you have an aftermarket radio you can take power form the illumination wire now your gauge will dim with the rest of the dash

ok got it all wired up this morning and have it all working. only thing is, my air/fuel gauge is really jumpy back and forth back and forth. even at idle. Do you think my factory tune is that off? or do i not have a really good connection where i tapped into the signal wire? went to pin #69 blue. engine light is on also. im gonna scan it this afternoon and see if that has anything to do with it. any ideas?

well it sounds like you hooked up a narrow band a/f gauge, which is a waste of money. If you want to know your a/f ratio you need to get a wideband setup.
