    Favorite tuner/harness builder?

I've got an lq4 that I'm trying to get ready for my ex-military one ton 4x4. I know Nelson seems to be the favorite but I wondered if anybody has had any luck with anybody else? The engine is a stock bottom with milled 317's and a comp 220 220 .555 .555 114 camshaft. Also, would an ls1 tune run with that cam temporarily or would it need a custom tune before i even try to drive it. I'm planning on using the turbo 400 that is in it for now.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

    tuner

well I have not used them yet but im going to Wait4uperformance.com Ive talked to them on the phone and they seam pretty knowlageable oh buy the way they only cost 360.00 out the door for a harness rebuild and tune. where as nelson is 650.00 for a stand alone and 225.00 or 250.00 for a tune. wait 4u is life time tuning also so if u up grade you just send them the pcm and they retune it all you spend is shipping. I did not see where your located but if your in texas texas speed is jam up on there tuning and performance mods. A guy in midland texas does lots of conversions I believe his shop is cars and parts from mars I talked to him and he uses anoter place out of sa antonio but i don't remember what its called but he told me Nelsons are good but they are for someone with deep pockets and wanting bragging rights

LMAO, not starting anything, but we're not even close to a lot of shops out there when comparing $$$$$. We're considered reasonable, not high priced or cheap.

Also, our reworked harness is $450, you're comparing their price to rework a harness to our complete brand new harness which is $650. There's a lot more to building a new harness compared to cutting out the extra stuff and grouping grounds, power and ignitions together. Our reworked harness includes, cutting out the extra stuff, simplifying the harness, adding a fuse block, obd2 connector, ses light, GM fuel pump relay, and easy 4 wire hookup.

Our hotrod tune, which gets your truck running with no emissions, vats, etc, is $150.

hope this helps clear things up.
