    low end hp

    hey all,

    i was wonderin what a good upgrade/mod would be to help out with my low end power....put LTs on and seem to have lost some low end..does this seem right?...the top end is out of this world...thanks in advance!

    A set of underdrive pulleys should give you better throttle response and off-idle torque; as well as more HP.

    1200? I believe.

    Ditch the granatelli, get electric fans if you don't have already. Ditch big wheels, or change gears
    blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

    wheels are gone..havent got a recent pic...got the maf before i started attending here...didnt know any better...love the sound of the flows..but i will change them out if it makes sense..

    Lt's shouldn't hurt your low end but shouldn't gain much down low either, they will give gains 2500rpm's and up.

    Get some good gears if you don't have them
    2006 silverado 4wd w/5.3 and 4.10's
    -blackbear 91/93 tune
    -Pacesetter LT's
    -flowmaster
    -trueflow air filter

    a cam would do wonders for low end tq if you choose the right one
    Simple: 408 on steroids!
