    OBS TO 6.0 4X4 Help!!!

Guys ive been trying to find this info on here but ive been at it for hours!I have a 2000 Yukon Denali OBS 5.7Vortec and want to swap to ls, ive found 2 candidates 5.3 & 6.0 both are around 00-01 complete with auto trans and transfer case i have found the mounts, gonna get NP to take care of the wiring, dont know about the a/c bracket yet,but my main concern is can i put in the complete setup from the donor truck and keep my driveshafts?Or would it be easier to just swap the motor? And are they anything else i need to watch out for?Guys any help would be greatful!!

Should be the same as any other 4WD GMT400 350 to LS swap...whatever that is.

So would it be easier to just swap the motor? Is that gonna move the trans. any?

    i did a 6.0 swap last year into a 98 4x4 suburban.
i had to use the 1 inch forward adaptor plates so i would not have to mess with the driveshaft lengths.
i had to go aftermarket for the compressor and a/c bracket because the compressor will not do in the orig location due to frame and control arm mounts. i will look for the name of the company i used for the bracket(i found them on ebay).

yea its done. i am really happy with it. i put an ls6 cam in mine i was really inpressed with it. i am not happy with the tuner i had do my tune but other than the shift points beind screwed up in the tranny everything is great. it really suprises the hell out of the guys driving the dodge hemi trucks

here is the company i used for my a/c bracket...Kwik Performance, Inc.
do a search on google or search ebay and type in ls1 a/c bracket and they will be the first on the list
