Anyone have any corporate contacts for GM warranty issues?

One of my friend's has a 2006 Silverado and it is rusting around the 3rd brake light. The truck is well within warranty, but so far GM is refusing to repair it under warranty. If anyone has any contact info to resolve this issue it would be greatly appreciated. He has already tried the GM customer care line and got nothing but lip service.

    TIA

    Craig

I just call the 800-chev-usa number and talk calmly to them and explain the situation. They've always taken excellent care of me and my GM vehicles.

He has tried that already, GM is claiming that it is an environmental issue. I guess they think trucks are supposed to rust in the Mojave desert.....

I just tell them no or throw their offers in the trash. Nothing to sweat over. I've got bigger fish to fry than extended warranty offers.

I would keep going to different dealerships until one of them agreed to fix it.

Which is why neither one of us can understand why they are denying the claim.

Im loving the GM extended warranty. I paid something like 1,000.00 for it when I bought my 2000 Silvy and I just had a new transfer case installed for free and Im at 110,000 on the odometer. Extended warranties are well worth the money to me!
