Thread: Hooked on LS1

    Hooked on LS1

    Great forum guys.

Impressed w/ the amount of information one can obtain. What hooked me and caused the shift from past Diesel Performance & Gen II stroker motor projects was stopping by Allen's shop and then going to River City. I got the chance to see a couple local LS1Truck Forum rides "ROLL" down the quarter w/ some amazing times.

That was Jan 08 and this weekend I just purchased/picked up the deal of a lifetime. 2005 RST, Original Owner, 5k miles out of Ohio.

Thanks to all who support this Forum, Glad to be apart. Standby for the "millions" of tech question that lie ahead. Hope my 6.0 build-up turns out half as KICKa$$ as some mentioned here.

Welcome to LS1truck man! You'll love it here...we pretty much have knowledgeable people for every ride you've got! So....a little 6.0L swap for the RST huh? Eh, it really isn't that bad--but then again, I've done several 6.0L swaps. Oh, and just so that you are aware, the NV3500 that is currently mated to the lil 4.8L will not hold up to the power of a 6.0L. You will need a T-56 or a TKO 600...
