I just got a black 2006 Extended Cab Silverado. Now I want a spray in bed liner. I am trying to decide if it should go over the bed rails or keep the bedliner under the rails and buy some bed rail protectors.

Any opinions? Any reason to go one way over the other?

Ive seen it once on a reg cab pewter truck with it coming over the bed rails and I didn't like it too much. You could do black diamond plate for the bed rails. Just to match the black truck already.

Over the rails looks like crap when it starts to fade.

Go over, you wont notice it much on a black truck, and it will protect you bed top rails more. I have had it both ways in the past and definatly prefer over.
