    Question N2O motor build?'s

Ok guys I am officially addicted to the spray!lol Im about to buy a 5.3 block from a guy I know and im gonna have it bored to a 5.7 and make it for a big shot of n20 prolly around 200 or 250.. Now the undecided part, What all parts am I going to need to make it stand up to the big shot? Will stock pistons with different rings work or is there a certain type I need? Also will a set of p&p'd LS6 heads work or do I need to get the PRC's? I think yall get where im goin with this, I hope.

If you're doing all the motor work... I'd at LEAST do Hellfire rings or better.

Well i wanna gonna go ahead and build this motor up. The 4.8 hasnt gone bang yet so this is just gonna be project so if im gonna work on a diff motor i figured put a few upgrades in it.
    My 224 cam, heads.etc...
Sooo on the heads will a set of LS6 heads p&p'd work good? also should I have them shaved down, and if so how much?
Im sorta takin the Stew (TXsilverado approach with this motor and setup)

theres pleny of people spraying 200+ on stock motors tho... why spend all that money for nothing? and if it does go, get another one and another and another and youll still come out spending less than if you were to build up an engine.

OR you can build up a iron 5.7 and be able to run a bigger shot than 200... If this is a project take the time to spend the money in the right places. Stock crank, eagle rods, and wiseco nitrous piston (i cant remember the series or whatever its called) with the wiseco gfx piston ring then 243's ported and polished would probably do (i wouldn't go with prc's i have no faith in anything texas-speed sells) or you can look for some trick flows. Now the cam is going to be important get a nitrous speced cam, also on the 243's if they are the gto ones i wouldent worry about the valves if its the z06 heads i wouldent trust those valves with a 300 shot there hollow and sodium filed. then of course it needs to be blue printed and id look for about 11.5:1 compression. depending on how much work you do yourself this should be doable for under 5k and thats with full arp bolts and stuff. Might as well go big or go home right? im mean a 200 shot really might as well go with a 300+ and be untouchable

Well if I can do a 200 on stock pistons i might just keep those stock, put the hellfire rings, get ARP rod bolts, a specd out cam and the 243 heads worked over..
Now the next ? where do i get pistons and rings at? since it was a 5.3 I dont have either..
