    What's an LS1 worth?

I've got a complete LS1 that I ended up with, and don't know what to ask for it. It's an '02 Camaro motor, with a light rod knock and good compression. All the accessories, harness and ecu. How much should I ask for it? A guy locally is interested which is great, cause shipping will be a hassle from AK.

not to run it down, but the light knock could mean to someone TEARDOWN
which core value is the value. 200-500 would be core. complete with
intake manifold and injectors, coils, etc.. $600.. accessories $725 would
be tops.. eBays got dealer techs pawning off warrenty pulls for quick
bucks $300 stripped. if you can get local would be best.

Could be just the infamous piston slap, and not a rod at all. With it being faint, are you sure?

Are you sure it's a rod? Does the noise sound like a bottom end CLANK or an upper end tick? An upper end tick is wayyyyyy better... If it's the rod, then a complete motor breakdown has to happen...
