If he hasn't locked your PCM I can read it and see if it has the VATS disabled or not. I can't program it because it will cost me $100 for a license but I can let you know if the VATS is on or off.

If you're not getting signal through a noid light you have issues.

    SHE LIVES!

Thanks dude you jogged my memory and made me remember that the motor got dropped when we had it on the hoist (only about 2 inches off the ground) and the wires that run in the front of the engine underneath the oil pan got crushed. 3 of those wires are for the crank sensor. I ran a wire overlay for the crank sensor wires and she fired right up!

The thing that kills me is when we were initially trying to get it started (about a month ago, late at night) one of my friends mentioned those wires and he was checking them out but for some reason we just never thought about it again. Now I gotta put the rest of the front end on, bolt the bed back up, check all the fluids and then go drive this beyotch!

During my swap, I made the mistake of leaving the harness attached to the motor & trans. Adjustment chain on hoist pulled the wire from the camshaft sensor during install. Had to rewire that BEFORE starting.

No problem, that's what we're here for, to help one another by tossing out ideas.
