I need a new bowtie emblem for the grill on my 86 Slverado. GM doesnt have it aanymore and I cant find one anywhere. You can find them for the 2 headlight trucks but not the Silverado. Does anyone have any suggestions. I also need the tailgate filler. You can still get it from GM but they are very proud of it . Thanks

I talked to LMC. Their bowtie is a stick on . The factory is a bolt on with spacers behind each side. The salesman didn't think it would look factory.Originally Posted by RedHeartbeat

Ha Ha... JFWY. I passed up a j/y truck when I was searching the j/y near me for Suburban bumpers to swap on me 86. I'll see what's around. Maybe I could find a grill for cheap.

very nice truck coming together,i would either go to oldmusclecars.com,they have a chevy truck section,or chevyduty.com,they both had a lot of parts for the slammed 88 dually i was putting together before i got my tahoe.good luck and keep posting pics would like to see the progress.
All I need is the bowtie. Everything else will be new on the front. If yours looks good I am interested.
