Thread: Supercharged LS1 S-10

    Just curious what you guys think the feasability of a Kenne Bell Supercharged/Intercooled LS1 S-10 would be?like a 99-00 truck.
    Any thoughts are welcome.

    I am sure you can stuff the LS1 in there but why go blown? A heads/cam+nitrous combo would be cheaper and probably make as much power if not more.

    From what I remember the KenneBell is a hotair blower like the Whipple. That's not good in the hot summer around here and basically turns useless.

    Remember there are also inexpensive stroker cranks coming out and AFR is releasing two sets of heads here so you can expect to see already ported stuff cheap.

    well, I figure a well built engine with CNC heads, a good cam, and lots of other goodies, as well as the blower/intercooler setup would be a blast.
    The intercooler would take care of the heat issue.

    you better have four wheel drive on that thing because it aint going nowhere if its two wheel drive.
    No boost, no juice, no fun!!
