I would think that if it fits in a newer S-10 it would be the same as yours? Just thinking out loud here.

It will fit. The 4.3L engine that is in there is just 3/4 of a Gen1 350 engine. The LSx fits well within the final generation S10. There are a lot of those converted out there. I think Hooker even makes engine mounts and headers for the conversion, if not check out Jags That Run, there are a few on there.

It seems like there is an issue with the front CV axle going through the oil pan area. I think it can be solved with some creative oil pan reworking. There is a Typhoon conversion on here that might have some insight. http://forum.ls1truck.com/index.php?showto...&hl=typhoon I still think about this setup (AWD s-10/s15) about once a week. Yesterday I searched for Sy/Ty's for sale. I think even a Bravada AWD setup would work.

I have been staring at one of those sitting in my neighborhood!! I bet it hasn't moved in 4 years. Too bad it's green though.

If you are asking me, HD torsion keys up front and Belltech 3" leafs in the rear.
