I re-installed the 408 last night or should I say this morning since I pulled an all-nighter and finished up about noon after a parts run for a Mobil1 filter, oil and new NGK TR6 plugs. It runs sweet and no more smoke at startup.While I was at it I pulled the Vig3600 convertor out, it stalled at 4000 rpm and figured it would be hard on a new engine during break-in. I may be sending it back to Precision for re-stalling since it was way too loose. The engine is stout with the stock convertor, you can really feel when the you come up on the cam.
