HEI & ALT. wiring on swap

Hi all, I'm putting a carbed 350 in a 92 Chevy that has a 4.3 now. Need a little help about the wiring. Not using the computer anymore. Will the Alt. still work with the factory wiring without the computer? Second, Will I need to run a new 12v wire to the HEI or can I tap into the current wiring running to the v6 dist. Thanks, Leon

Alt will not be an issue. The large gauge pink wire should provide enough juice to fire the HEI.
