My Boyds are polished aluminum and they're starting to pit after years of use and have always been a pain in the ass to polish. The good thing is aluminum is easy to weld on like I did mine and easy to machine out if they get dinged or bent. I can get wheels chromed for $125.00 a wheel if you're in the Houston area. I can also get them anodized which is a hatrd clear finish like the factory wheels. I would even be glad to put you in contact with my wheel man.
