just wanted to post that i finally got my truck back from the recent LS6, 6 speed swap. with my factory intake and ported factory throttle body, shorty headers, gutted cats, and clutch fan. the conversion made 380 rwhp and 368 rwtq. had a few issues with it at first, like 2 weeks ago my new driveshaft was out of balance badly, it caused my yoke on the axle to come apart and crack the tailshaft on the tranny. so now that i have another new driveshaft, a yukon heavy duty posi carrier, yukon 5.13 gears,a dn an LS7 clutch, it is now back on the road. just in time for the local strip to open up, wooo hooo. but first i have to take it easy for about 300 miles to break the new carrier and clutch in. but other than that it is strong as hell. upcoming maybe this summer is a new intake, electric fans, and long tubes. i want 400+rwhp.

Cool, that thing ought to launch hard with those gears. If you can get traction, that is.

well thats true, but if it spins forever i dont care right now cause i am broke as shit now. i will take it to the track anyway. gonna have to find soem wheels and tires. i want to run some Weld draglites, but they wont fit cause of the damn calipers. i think it would look cool with those wheels and some drag radials with the skinnies on the front, it would be different
