Any of you guys know how to get to the damn low beams in the 04 model trucks? I am putting some new headlights in and I cant figure out how to get to the damn things without removing the battery and airbox.

2009 Silverado, HPTuners, all stock.
i dont know about on an 04, but on my truck an 02, there are 2 metal holding pins that should rotate out and then pull straight up.... look like big L shape pins... then the headlight should fall out in your hands... disconnect, install bulb and reinstall headlight in reverse order lol.... but i dont know if they changed the way the lights were held in from your year to mine

They changed the way they were for the 03 model I think, at least in my Avalanche they did. This one is a bitch!

lol...i got it man, i had to remove the parking lamp housing to get to the bottom one. Pain in the ass but I got it! After the first time I could probably swap both in 5 mins, it was just figuriing out where everything was.

all you have to do is pull out that one pin and then you'll be able to get to the back of the headlight to change out the bulb
