earlier in the week i posted that i was going to drop an LS2 with a big cam in my 02 silverado. well that plan has been changed. I am now purchasing a recently built LS6 long block. with a rather hefty bump stick, adn a set of stage 1 truck heads. the engine is currently in an f-body puttin about 450 hp to the tires. the swap is going to be done week after next, along with the install of my T-56 and LS7 clutch. just thought id keep those interested posted.

alright! That sounds like a much more reasonable swap. I was concerned on the other engine swap.

well i dont really care i just want to go fast for the best price possible. and the price they had on both engines was the same, but i agree, the LS6 would be an easier swap. so when i get that and my 6 speed dropped in, all i should need to do major is swap that 4.11 for a 5.13 or lower. but maybe in the next couple months for that though. it kinda pisses me off i just spent about 2500 bucks on my little 4,8 to make it go fast then this deal pops up and i gots to jump on it. hey what can i do about my 4.8 and nv3500 5 speed outta my truck, i need to sell them, but what woulkd they be worth. i am leaving the camshaft and most of the other things i had in it.
