Thread: New Numbers

1. #1
Well I went to the dyno this morning. The guy said he couldn't get my truck to stay in 2nd. it kept down shifting when he got on it. The result was some wacky numbers/graphs. He said that the 345.54 shown here is correct. I hope so. Mods are in my signature.

HP: 345
TQ: 334

Hmmm...

Those are very similar to the numbers I put down with a little bigger cam and an LQ9. IMO I think those might be a tad high.

I thought they were high. When I dyno'd at another shop before the cam it was at 266hp. They were kind of jerks so I went somewhere else. Maybe I should just suck it up and go back there.

Couldn't hold it in second? Hmm... if they had tuning software they could force it to stay in whatever gear they wanted... HPT has that option w/ VCM Controls.

Actually I have HPT but I'm not very familiar with it yet. Also, my laptop battery died while I was logging the run.

Anyone have an idea what the numbers should be? I was hoping for 305-310HP.
