Hey guys, does anyone know of a kit that will allow me to lower the Av but retain the comfortable driving it currently has??
I do not want to sacrifice any ride quality it has now, that is very imporant.

I want to lower the Av about 1/3 or whatever it takes to make it look right.

any suggestions are appreciated!

There are TONS of threads on CAFCNA about this. Sorry, I've never done any research on lowering one.

i've heard bad things about coils for silverados.. i would think the av isn't much different. i'd personally look at something without them. or at least research the problems/concerns with coils for our trucks.

belltech makes a great 3" drop, leaf spring lowering kit that i'm interested in purchasing. i've been recommended them from a few installers.

Just FWI, 02-06 Avalanches are t-bar front suspension and coil spring rear. 2007 AV's use coils on both ends. The Avalanche is built on a 'burb chassis not a Silverado.

belltech is the "best" in quality and longevityif you want to retain th emost comfterble ride i would go with them. i have a djm 2 4 and its smooth but then again i have hotchkis swaybars also. so im not sure about them. but its held up with out a problem. i reccomend belltech . my friend has a belltech 2 4, same truck as mine 05rcsb and his rides liek stock.

hope this helps

PS::: VERY IMPORTANT::: DONT GO WITH GROUND FORCE!!!!. THEY SUCK. THE SHOCKS CRAP OUT AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OF NORMAL USE.
