    Just checking in.

A few months back, I was lucky enough to pick up a complete 5.3 for next to nothing. I'm now planning on swapping it into my '49 Studebaker pickup. It'll be a long term project but should turn out nice if everything goes to plan.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions to post as the project moves along.

Should be a sweet project. Have fun and let us know how much better it will be!

I like really old ass trucks...I'd like to get an old International Harvester truck and work over sometime. I once let a '69 Cheyenne 3/4 ton 396/TH400/12bolt slip through my hands for $1200. That would have been a bad mo-fo to build up!

Sounds like a nice project. Is it going to be for shows or a weekend /daily driver? Post some pictures and tell us how it goes.
