I actually just joined to talk to you about these heads. I have an '03 SS 6.0L LQ9 . Will these heads work on my truck without custom work? Are these originally stock LS1 heads, but ported?
How does the flow compare to my stock heads?
I like these better than the Dart heads now available because of the chamber size. The Darts are 62cc and that would raise my compression way to much even though they would flow more, but not a whole lot more. Are these complete with springs and valves etc ready to bolt on? I am going to run a lingenfelter GT2-3 cam. Would the push rods you have and the install kit be everythign I need? Thanks for all of the help.

they will bolt right on, no custom work. yes, stock LS1 heads but ported. im not sure how the lq9 heads flow, but a little more than the 5.3L heads airdeano posted would be fair to say. they are just as pictured with valves, new valve seals, retainers, and .650 lift dual springs with 0 miles. and yeah the pushrods im pretty sure you can use them, they are hardened chromoly 7.4" stock ls1 length pushrods.

hope this helps...

I should have asked this earlier, but do you have flow sheets for your numbers? Maybe a receipt from TEA? I guess I want to know why there are 5k miles on the castings, but 0 on the valve train. Who installed the vales, etc? TEA? Thanks. I apologize for being so detailed, but I want to be clear on what I am getting (I got burned on a set of junk heads before).

Never mind, I saw that you said you dont have the flow sheets. I guess I just have to take your word for it if I want them.

i think i have a flow sheet somewhere around here, but those numbers i posted above are from it. i didnt buy them direct from TEA so i dont have a reciept, i bought them with 5k on them, had them flowed, and was getting ready to put them on my truck with an F13(230/232 cam) and needed the new dual springs so i put them and the valve seals in, well my buddy who's and "LS1 nerd" so to speak, did the springs(valves came installed).

Damn, man, nobody has bit on these yet? Have you tried posting them on LS1tech, Corvetteforum and LS1GTO.com?

You should go change your price at the top so that you might find an interested party.
