Thread: Efans or not?

    Wanting to add dual E-Fans. Have one efan with a clutch fan on the front - want to buy-back some HP. Anyone got an idea on what I can get back with my setup? Is it worth it to do this and take off the clutch fan or should I stick with what I have?

    I'm not going to say that that setup won't be good, but for less money and a little more leg work you could do something simmilar to what I did http://www.offroad-tech.com/forum/showthre...ighlight=taurus

    Most of the details of the swap are in the first few posts, follow up info is further down.

    If I had to guess I would say that I ganined between .5 and 1 MPG. It really isn't as big of a difference as you would expect to see as the factory clutch fan is already quite effiecient.

    definitley do the efans, I just put a set on my truck from an 05 Tahoe. i love them, the highest the truck sees is 190 and they turn on. I had to buy a new 34&#39;&#39; rad and a Nelson harness which really made the install easy&#33;&#33;&#33;
