Yes, my 92 had a PATC 2800 stall convertor. It was tight, didn't slip as much as I thought it should but worked perfectly and I had no issues with it. The convertor was nowhere near as loose as my 3600 RPM Vig but then again it didn't cost nearly as much, either. I would use them again for a more stock vehicle.

I blew through one of their converters on a mild sbc back in the late 90's.
