OK i really need some help with this. I just installed a new fuel pump in my 98 silverado 5.7 because the fuel gauge wasnt reading anything. When i went to go put in the new pump "which was a pain" I installed the 2 connectors right and did everything right but when i went to go check if the gauge worked "with the truck on" it read a 3/4 of a tank which is i guess about right but its like vibrating and going crazy when i first turn the key then after that its just vibrating back n forth not giving me an accurate reading when i turn the truck off it doesnt drop down to E it stops at a new place every time. Is the a place i need to take it so it can get calibrated or somthing. i reset my computer and everything. Please Help Thank You

Did you forget to hook up the ground wire at the fuel tank?
