    Unhappy

Me and a friend are dropping a 6.0L LQ4 in his 4.3L 99 reg cab chevy. Are the motor mounts the same? We are ready to pull the 4.3 out tomorrow. Just by looking at the motor mounts it looks like they are the same size and in the same location. Does any have a clue to the answer? A quick response would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know if the exaust will be the same where it bolts up to the headers? Thanks again guys!

The 4.3 is basically a sbc 350 with 2 cyl. missing so you'll need to get some adapter plates to get the Gen.III engine to mount up in proper location. Your existing mounts should work fine though.
