why do you think i went with a trucks harness
[/b]
because you are in a truck web site??? and asking for a 5.3 pcm setup??? and it has a fuel sensor on the rear of the harness???

i'm sorry if that sounded bad, i thought you were asking a question,,, i was thinking about this projest last night, take the 6 cylinder harness all the way out, cut it apart, take it down to just power, grounds, and sensors into the cab. take your truck harness (the harness has to match the computer, some 02s and stuff are pined out differently) strip it down, splice the powers and grounds into the new harness( make a hybrid harness) you can even mount the computer on the drivers fender someplace out of the way. if you need to, get a aux 8 to 10 way fuse pannel from napa and make a keyed power fuse block for all the pink wires (most of them are keyed power). you dont have to use the truck fuse pannel, your car has one already. it might just be short a couple. take your time and do it nice it sucks to build a harness, wrap it good, install it, then find something wrong like the trans shift interlock wired wrong, or the backup lights powering the shift solenoids in the trans. some of the wires are the same wire color for completley different stuff. check twice, cut once. a factory harness can be made into a "universal harness" easy with a little bit of work. some of the 5 wire hookup harnesses cost 500-800 bucks...

( make a hybrid harness)

whats the difference

another thing dont i need other injector connectors instead of the flex fuel

hybrid.... take out the vs harness, splice in all the truck stuff to the v6 harness. wire the engine, install the whole freekin thing at one time through the bottom. then the harness should just plug in. you need to think about if you ever need to remove it or service something later down the road. making stuff hard wired in sucks down the road. ...............what radio wiring do you want. year, type, truck-car-crew cab, 2-dr-bose base- uplevel.....ext....ext.... they all seem to be just a little different.

****** lux-uq7 w/y91 class 2 amp
****** base/upleval radio uq3
****** uq7 w/o y91 non class 2 amp
****** w/steering wheel controls
****** w/video system
or if you can get the last 8 digits from the vin the radio came from i can decode it to get the correct wiring.
they are all different.

hear ya go, it looks like you have a base radio w/built in power, this is a class 2 driven radio, it needs a 96 or newer gm car/truck class 2 line to tell the radio to "wake up". also this radio reads the vin from the car/truck, if it doesnt match the stored vin in the radio, it locks up. you have to program the radio after installing it, and it wont program unless it was offered in thet type of car/truck. radio swaping in newer cars sucks due to the programing. this radio is usless in a older rig due to the vin coding. if you find a way to get it to work PLEASE TELL ME!!! I NEED TO KNOW!!!
