PCM questions 2003 5.3 to 99 obs tahoe

Going to swap a 5.3 into my 99 tahoe. I was planning to do a 0411 swap and run on my 5.7 but now have the option of getting a pretty much complete low miles 5.3 parts truck for a good deal.

Should I just use the ecu out and harness from the 03? I knew the 0411 was good because it was kinda an in between the 5.7 and 5.3 years. But I imagine I can just pull all of that and integrate the newer harness into what is there.

On the newer OBS trucks you can repin your stock harness into a LS PCM. Just have to add injectors to the stock harness more or less. Some googling might turn up more info, mine is a 91 So i ditched the factory computer and harness all together.

Cool yeah just meld the two harnesses. I think it will make more sense if I have the harnesses in front of me but right now I just can't wrap my head around it totally and it is something I don't want to start until I do. I have done OBD 1 swaps etc so am not totally clueless it is just hard sorting through all the info because the LS are going into everything.
